I made this watercolor painting for an exhibition in the United Arab Emirates. It is part of a series on local fauna. I wanted to show in this painting the sweetness, the peace and the beauty of this animal. It is true that we see abort ses fabulous cornes but it is above all his friendly side that I wanted to highlight.

I particularly like this achievement, I feel friendship watching it.

At the beginning of the 20th century, this animal occupied the Arabian Peninsula, northern Kuwait and Iraq. It is the only non-African representative of the oryx genus. The oryx lives in herds of about 60 animals. Herbivorous and very adapted to dry environments, it is able to go without drinking for long periods.

This painting is available as an original and as a digigraphy.
Digigraphy is a technical label that makes it possible to produce or reproduce a work of art in a limited series.

Thank you.
